THE BIG FIVE ONE!!!!!!

They say things get better with age....Such as wine, cheese,ect.
They say with age comes wisdom !!!!

Well I don't know who said this, but they were "WRONG" The only thing I find that comes with age is wrinkles, sagging,bagging and bad eye sight....Oh, did I forget to mention GRAY HAIR?
I remember a time when I could touch my toes, and put my legs behind my head...Yup I could really do those things. Ausssiesnan, was talking about skipping rope the other day....The only way I would even dare to that is if I were wearing depends.Hehehehe...
Yup things have changed....But I have so much more then I use to have,back when I could do those things....I have three wonderful children. Three wonderful grandchildren,.Wonderful friends, true friends... And despite my wrinkles, and sags,and bags. a husband who still loves me...

Got a call from Angie the other night,nothing new there... But this time the conversation was a little different..Hello Mom what yah doing, nothing just watching TV., then out it came!!! Mom would you like to take your G.E.D's with me?
It only takes afew nights aweek. One of my friends and her mother took them together and they had a ball...
Now I'm in a panic!!! What do I say.? Angie I really don't think so. Oh come on Mom it will be fun!! Little does she know the panic that is running through me.How do you tell you daughter, that you don't want her to know just how stupid you are?Excuse's think of something quick!!!! Well Ang, I don't know when your Dad and I will be working.... and I don't think I can afford it. On the other end of the phone I here disappointment,oh !!!! Just that one little word broke my heart.. I would love to do this with her.So finally I say, Angie look I know I can't do it. I'd never be able to do the math,to start with,or the English,and I would have to do from grade 7 on !!! Oh come on Mom I know you could do it, and it would be fun.
Fun!!! never in a million years would I find being humilated in a room full of people Fun.....
I would really like to do this, but I know I can't...

This coneversation,has been playing on my mind every day. I would love to do nothing more then to get my G.E.D's, then be able to take some courses, and get out of the fish plants ,and into something I would enjoy, and stay warm and dry.

All I can think of, is if I could do this, I'd like to do something in electroics.I love taking things apart and putting them back together.I bet that infomation shocked you all. I would rather be in nursing, but by the time I got done I'd be to old. And if I got TV, VCR,ect repair, its something I could do from home.....

So what I've been thinking is I'll get a GED book and see how I do... If it doesn't look to hard,I might just give it a try."Its something to think about!!!!!

I'M BACK!!!!!!

Hello everyone...I know its been awhile, but I don't have a lot going on in my life... We are all done in the cucumbers,and the dogfish for the year. I now have a job working in the bait fish. Now I was cold the last couple of weeks, working , but I have a feeling its going to be alot worse working this winter!!!! Oh well you have to do, what you have to do to get by...
I spent Friday with my sister Jackie, we went shopping,and had a ball..... We laughted so hard, I hurt. It was so fun, just to be out .
Been missing K&S, so I gave her a call the other night.She sounds good, and seems to be doing well.I also miss my Use. Angie told Jackie she was going to get me a dog for my birthday,so I've really been stressing to her that I don't want another one. Its just not that simple to replace something that was so special to me.
Dan and I have a wedding anniversary the end of Nov., and I would really like to do something special with him. It well be 32 years.
